Houseplant in Grey Pot

Houseplant in Grey Pot gave me tremendous joy. I hope you can feel that as you take it in. The twists and turns and curves and ridges of each leaf was exciting to paint. I also enjoyed the simplicity of the background and the little-bitty peek-a-boo of the window (that's for you, dear viewer). The color scheme reminds me of my charcoal work from long ago with the addition of greens…sooooo many greens. And each has a personality of its own, but man, I love the way they play together. I hope you enjoy it, too!
